As shown in the video, this homemade mint toothpaste recipe is incredibly easy to make! It is equal parts Coconut Oil and Baking Soda with a touch of mint. If you can use just baking soda with water then great! But, I prefer a little taste and a smoothie texture. This is where the Coconut Oil and mint come in.
This recipe that I created originated from Sebastian Noel who runs websites at PaleoDietRecipes.org and ThePaleoDiet.net. If I remember correctly, he used quite a bit of coconut oil which was too much for me. I believe baking soda works a little better and is much cheaper. An equal balance of the 2 makes for one hell of a toothpaste!
